                       MARK ROTHKO
Mark Rothko saw these paintings as object of contemplation, demanding the viewer's complete absorption. He was inspired by Michelangelo's Laurentian Library in Florence, with its blind windows and kind of oppressive atmosphere. 
Mark Rothko wants literally scare us and try to bricked up into a library, or he is something metaphoric? This mystery makes me like the paintings more and even more and the colours give me the same feelings.
